About the Conference

A World of Opportunities

The AWAK is organizing the 10th Ladies Leadership and Accountability Conference themed “Forging Forward:
Celebrating our Journey, Inspiring Women Leaders for Impact,” seeks to celebrate the Tin Milestone since the
Conference began. The Conference provides an experiential platform where women leaders share their
professional, social and economic experiences towards a re-defined lady leadership and sustainable and equitable
future.
The past decade has been characterized by Innovation and technological change, hard and volatile economic times
occasioned by war, climate change and environmental degradation, – all happening at an unprecedented pace and
reshaping life. Leadership in 2024 wasn’t easy as leaders faced unrelenting economic pressures, hybrid work hurdles,
and the rapid-fire evolution of AI. But 2025 promises to be even tougher. The demands on leaders are only growing,
and the ones who succeed will not just be required to adapt, — they’ll thrive by staying ahead of the curve.
The 10th Leadership Conference, hence, seeks to delve deeper into these subject matters with the goal of appraising
and navigating the odds terrain and; equipping ladies with the present-age experiential knowledge essential for
women leaders to solve complex challenges they keep facing in their career journey. The conference will be
facilitated by accomplished lady leaders who will not only explore what it takes to lead as a woman but also share
with the delegates their experiences on how to navigate through life challenges and towards a sustainable lady
leadership future. Moreover, the delegates will be motivated and mentored on how they can get engaged, where
to look for opportunities, how they can elevate their brand and equip themselves for success. If you’re a leader
